As a former Secondary Art Teacher and moderator of many years, I discovered my calling for fine art painting in an unexpected way. I found myself turning to art as a therapeutic outlet from the daily stressors of raising my son, who has severe autism. I started to capture local walks and places that filled me with inspiration, calm and relaxation. My hope is that anyone viewing my work can take a little bit of nature and peacefulness with them.
